Dell 14 Plus DB14250 laptop

The Dell 14 Plus DB14250 is a 14-inch Copilot+ PC built for business professionals who need AI-accelerated productivity in a light chassis. It ships with Windows 11 Home, an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor and 16 GB of onboard LPDDR5X memory. The 512 GB SSD provides the system drive for documents and applications.

Sustained workload behaviour

The Intel Core Ultra 5 226V runs at up to 4.5 GHz with an 8-core design and a 40 TOPS NPU for continuous AI processing. Integrated Intel Arc graphics share the 16 GB LPDDR5X pool running at 8533 MT/s. The 64 WHr battery and 65 W Type-C adapter support extended sessions away from a desk.

Installation and common issues

The laptop arrives ready to use with the operating system pre-installed and only the AC adapter to connect. Memory and storage are not user-upgradable, so buyers who want more capacity must choose a different configuration at purchase. The non-touch IPS panel does not support pen input.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the Intel Core Ultra 5 226V get when running AI workloads all day?

The 40 TOPS NPU handles sustained AI tasks efficiently within the thin chassis, and the 65 W Type‑C adapter supplies enough headroom for the 8‑core processor without requiring a bulky power brick.

Which peripherals or docks must I already own to use the Wi‑Fi 7 and display outputs?

A Wi‑Fi 7 router is needed for the highest wireless speeds, and any external monitor connects through the USB‑C ports that support video and the 65 W charger simultaneously.

Will my older USB‑A accessories and existing 512 GB SSD work with this laptop?

USB‑A devices require a hub or adapter because the chassis only provides USB‑C, and the 512 GB PCIe drive is soldered on‑package so it cannot be swapped or supplemented with another internal drive.
