Genuine Dell G7 7590 LCD Ribbon Cable

This genuine Dell OEM ribbon cable replaces the 15.6-inch LCD video cable on G Series G7 7590 laptops equipped with the optional 60Hz screen. It carries the Dell part number 720FJ and restores the display signal path between the motherboard and panel. Buyers who need a cable for a higher refresh-rate panel cannot use this part.

Check laptop model and screen refresh rate

Verify that the service tag or bottom sticker reads G7 7590 and that the original display specification is 60Hz before ordering. The cable is not interchangeable with versions built for faster panels, so confirming the exact screen type avoids a mismatch.

Passive component with no power draw

The ribbon cable is a passive flex assembly that draws no power and generates no heat or noise during normal operation. It simply routes video signals between the system board and the LCD panel. Installation requires opening the laptop chassis, which should be done carefully to avoid damaging the delicate connectors.
