15.6" Touch Laptop for Everyday Computing

This Dell Inspiron 15 3593 model combines a 15.6-inch HD touchscreen with a 10th Generation Intel Core i7 processor. The 12GB of system memory and 512GB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive provide responsive performance for multitasking and fast file access. Windows 10 in S Mode ships pre-installed, and the chassis is finished in black.

Touchscreen and Storage Benefits

The 1366 x 768 resolution touch display enables direct finger navigation across the Windows interface. The 512GB NVMe drive accelerates boot times and application launches compared with traditional hard drives. Stereo speakers tuned with Waves MaxxAudio Pro deliver enhanced audio output for media playback. An integrated 720p webcam supports video calls without extra hardware.

Straightforward Setup with S Mode Limits

Initial configuration follows the standard Windows out-of-box experience, guided by on-screen prompts. Windows 10 in S Mode restricts app installation to the Microsoft Store, so software from other sources cannot be added unless the mode is switched. The single USB 2.0 port and two USB 3.1 ports cover most peripherals, while the HDMI output handles external displays. Buyers who need to run non-Store applications or require additional USB-C connectivity should verify compatibility before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the 512GB NVMe drive need replacing as it fills up?

The 512GB NVMe drive is not user-replaceable in this chassis, so storage upgrades would require an external USB 3.1 drive or cloud storage instead.

What thermal limit appears first when the i7-1065G7 runs heavy workloads continuously?

The quad-core 1.30GHz processor with Intel Turbo Boost will hit its thermal ceiling before the integrated Intel Extreme Graphics becomes the bottleneck.

How loud does the cooling fan get and how hot does the chassis feel during an all-day work session?

The slim 15.6" design uses a single fan that becomes audible under sustained load, while the palm-rest area warms noticeably after several hours of continuous use.
