Purpose & audience

The Dell Inspiron 3511 is a 15.6 inch business laptop with an 11th generation Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor, 8 GB DDR4 memory and a 256 GB SSD. It suits professionals and students who need a Windows 11 Home machine for everyday productivity, video calls and light multitasking. The anti-glare FHD display and numeric keypad support long typing sessions. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics handle office applications and media playback.

Compatibility check

Verify that your existing peripherals use USB 3.2, USB 2.0 or HDMI 1.4 connections, as these are the only video and data ports provided. The single SD card slot accepts standard cards for quick file transfers. Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth handle wireless networking and accessories. The 256 GB SSD is the sole internal storage; plan external drives if you need more capacity. The non-touch screen does not support pen or finger input.

Included extras

Windows 11 Home is pre-installed, removing the need for a separate licence purchase. Dell ComfortView software reduces blue light emissions for more comfortable extended viewing. The lift hinge raises the rear of the chassis to a more ergonomic typing angle. A 6.4 percent increase in keycap size and a larger touchpad improve input accuracy compared with previous Inspiron keyboards. The three-side narrow border design maximises screen area within the 15.6 inch footprint.
