Ready-to-work laptop for daily productivity

This Dell Inspiron 3520 15 arrives with Windows 11 Pro, a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U processor, 32GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD. The 15.6 inch FHD touchscreen supports direct interaction for office tasks, web browsing and light creative work. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles standard video playback and multi-monitor setups via HDMI 1.4b. It suits students, remote workers and small-business users who need a complete system without further upgrades.

10-core processor at up to 4.4 GHz

The i5-1235U runs at a 3.30 GHz base frequency and reaches a 4.40 GHz turbo frequency across its 10 cores and 12 threads. This specification determines how smoothly the laptop manages simultaneous browser tabs, document editing and video calls. Buyers who need sustained heavy rendering, compilation or gaming workloads should consider a discrete GPU configuration instead.

Touchscreen plus 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD

The bundled 15.6 inch 1920 x 1080 touchscreen adds pen and finger input for annotations and navigation. Factory-installed 32GB DDR4 memory removes the need for an immediate RAM upgrade, while the 1TB PCIe SSD provides ample space for applications and large files. The package also includes a 720p webcam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an SD card reader and a combo audio jack for headset use.

Questions about this item

How does the 10-core i5-1235U perform in a 15.6-inch laptop chassis?

The 10-core processor runs at a 3.30 GHz base with a 4.4 GHz turbo, giving quick multi-threaded responsiveness for office work, web browsing and light content creation inside the 3.65-pound chassis.

What external displays can the HDMI 1.4b port drive?

The HDMI 1.4b output supports the panel's native 1920 x 1080 resolution; bandwidth limits prevent higher resolutions or refresh rates beyond what the port's specification allows.

Will the 14.11 x 9.27 x .83 inch dimensions fit a standard 15-inch sleeve?

The laptop measures 14.11 x 9.27 x .83 inches, so it fits most sleeves labelled for 15.6-inch devices, though tight-fitting models should be checked against these exact figures.
