Dell Inspiron 3520 — 15.6 inch 120Hz touchscreen

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6 inch laptop with a Full HD 120Hz touchscreen. It runs on an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1155G7 processor with 32GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed in a Carbon Black chassis.

Best for office work and study

This configuration suits professionals and students who need a responsive touch display and ample memory for multitasking. Buyers who want discrete graphics for gaming or creative rendering should look elsewhere. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics and 60Hz panel limit high-refresh competitive play.

512GB NVMe and 32GB DDR4 headroom

The 512GB NVMe drive handles operating system, applications and active project files comfortably. The 32GB DDR4 memory provides headroom for many browser tabs and office suites simultaneously. Storage runs out when large media libraries or virtual machines are added. Memory reaches its limit with heavy video editing or 3D workloads.

Questions about this item

What operating system must already be on the laptop for the Windows 11 Home licence to activate?

Windows 11 Home is pre-installed, so no prior operating system is required for activation.

Can the HDMI 1.4 port drive a 4K monitor at 60 Hz alongside the built-in 120 Hz panel?

HDMI 1.4 on this model is limited to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz, so 4K output is not supported.

How can I verify the 120 Hz touchscreen is running at its advertised refresh rate after setup?

Open Settings > System > Display > Advanced display and confirm the refresh rate shows 120 Hz for the internal panel.
