15.6-inch FHD Touch Laptop

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen laptop powered by a 12th Generation Intel Core i5-1235U processor. It comes with 16 GB of DDR4 2666 MHz memory and a 1 TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed in a carbon black chassis.

Suits office work and study.

This configuration suits professionals and students who need a responsive touch display for productivity, web browsing and video calls. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles everyday visual tasks. Buyers who require a dedicated GPU for rendering, gaming or GPU-accelerated workloads should look at a different system.

1 TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD decides storage capacity

The single specification that determines fit is the 1 TB M.2 PCIe NVMe solid-state drive. It sets the total high-speed storage available for the operating system, applications and active files. If your workflow demands more local capacity than 1 TB, this unit will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

How much heat and fan noise does the Core i5-1235U produce when the laptop runs all day?

The 12th Gen Core i5-1235U is a 15 W base-power processor paired with Intel UHD Graphics, so sustained workloads keep thermals moderate and fan noise low in the 15.6-inch chassis.

Which peripherals or accounts must I already own to start using this Windows 11 Pro laptop?

Only a Microsoft account or local user profile is required; the 1 TB NVMe SSD, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, 720p webcam and all ports are built in.

Can I connect my older USB 2.0 devices and an external 1080p monitor to this Inspiron 3520?

Yes — one USB 2.0 Type-A port supports legacy peripherals, and the HDMI output drives a 1920 x 1080 display alongside the internal touchscreen.
