Questions about this item

Will the Core i5-1235U throttle under a full-day compile workload?

The 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U runs at a 15 W base power; sustained heavy loads will hit thermal limits and reduce clocks after a short period.

How loud and hot does the chassis get when the fans run constantly?

A 3-cell 41 Wh battery and slim 0.75 in profile mean the single fan spins up audibly and the keyboard deck warms noticeably during all-day use.

Which dock or monitor cables do I need on day one?

The laptop provides one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one USB 2.0 Type-A and one HDMI port — bring a USB-C hub or HDMI cable for external displays.
