Check your peripherals and network environment

This unit provides one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port and one USB 2.0 Type-A port for accessories. External displays connect through the single HDMI output. A combined headphone and microphone jack plus a card reader are also present. Wireless connectivity uses Wi-Fi 5; verify that your router supports this standard for best throughput. The barrel-type power jack requires the supplied 41 Wh three-cell adapter.

Thermals, noise and power in daily use

The 41 Wh three-cell battery delivers up to eight hours on average workloads such as document editing and web browsing. Fan activity remains low during typical productivity tasks and rises only under sustained multi-core load. Surface temperatures stay comfortable for lap use during normal operation. The 15.6-inch chassis at 0.75 inch thickness allows adequate airflow without excessive acoustic output.
