Target device

This Inspiron 3520 laptop pairs an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD. It runs Windows 11 Home on a 15.6 inch touchscreen display at 1920 x 1080 resolution. The configuration suits home and office users who need ample storage and a responsive touch interface.

Sustained workload behaviour

The four-core processor reaches a 4.2 GHz turbo frequency while Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics handle visual output on the 60 Hz panel. Under continuous load the 65 W power supply and 41 WHr battery manage the thermal envelope of the thin-and-light chassis. Performance settles at levels appropriate for productivity applications rather than extended heavy compute tasks.

Interface practical limits

Wireless connectivity uses 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 for peripheral links. Wired expansion provides one USB 2.0 port, an HDMI output and an SDXC card reader alongside a headset jack. The USB 2.0 connection caps external storage speeds well below the internal NVMe drive potential, and the single video output supports one external display.
