15.6" Touch Laptop for Daily Work

The Dell Inspiron 3535 is a new 15.6-inch touchscreen laptop running Windows 11 Home. It combines a 6-core Ryzen 5 7530U processor that reaches 4.5 GHz with 40 GB of memory and a 2 TB SSD. The 1920 x 1080 Full HD display supports touch input for direct interaction.

Suits Office and Home Users.

This configuration suits students, office workers and home users who want a responsive touchscreen and plenty of storage for documents and media. Buyers who need a dedicated graphics card for 3D rendering, video editing or modern gaming should look at a different class of machine.

Integrated Graphics Decide 3D Capability

The single specification that determines suitability is the integrated graphics processor built into the Ryzen 5 chip. It handles desktop compositing, video playback and light creative tasks, but it cannot deliver the frame rates or compute performance required by demanding 3D applications.

Questions about this item

Can the 40GB memory or the 2TB SSD be upgraded later?

The 40GB of memory is soldered and cannot be expanded. The 2TB SSD uses a standard M.2 slot, so it can be replaced with a larger drive if required.

What stops the Ryzen 5 7530U from holding its 4.5 GHz boost during long workloads?

The integrated graphics share the same thermal budget as the six CPU cores, so sustained heavy loads will hit the cooling limit and the processor will throttle to stay within safe temperatures.

How loud and hot does the chassis get when the laptop runs all day?

Under continuous use the single fan spins up to an audible level and the keyboard deck becomes noticeably warm, especially above the processor area where the integrated graphics and CPU share heat pipes.
