Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This configuration suits professionals and students who want a responsive touchscreen, ample memory and fast storage for multitasking and media consumption. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles everyday productivity and video playback. Buyers who need discrete graphics for gaming, 3D rendering or heavy GPU compute should consider a different system.

Deciding specification — 10-core Intel Core 7 150U

The processor delivers a maximum turbo frequency of 5.4 GHz with 12 MB cache, providing the performance headroom for demanding office workloads and light creative tasks. If your workflow relies on sustained multi-threaded performance or dedicated graphics acceleration, this CPU may not meet those requirements.

Questions about this item

How loud does the Core 7 150U fan get when the laptop runs all day?

The 10-core processor has a base power of 15 W and a maximum turbo power of 55 W, so sustained loads will spin the fan but the 0.64-inch thin chassis limits airflow, making it audible in a quiet room.

Which ports do I already need on my monitors or docks to connect this laptop?

You need an HDMI input for external video, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A sockets for legacy peripherals, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port that supports DisplayPort alt-mode if you want a single-cable dock.

Can I drive a 1080p external display at 60 Hz through the HDMI port while using the built-in 1920 x 1200 touchscreen?

Yes, the integrated Intel graphics supports dual-display output, so the internal panel and an external monitor connected via HDMI will both run at their native resolutions simultaneously.
