Questions about this item

How long can the Core i5-1145G7 sustain its 2.6 GHz base clock before thermal limits reduce performance?

The 14.0" chassis with 0.8" thickness and 3.1 lbs weight relies on integrated Iris Xe graphics sharing system memory, so sustained loads will hit thermal limits quickly and throttle clock speeds to manage heat.

What are the fan noise and surface temperatures when the 32 GB memory and 512 GB SSD are fully utilised for hours?

Under continuous load the thin-and-light design forces the fan to spin audibly while the keyboard deck and bottom panel become warm to the touch as the shared-memory GPU adds to the thermal load.

Which Thunderbolt 4 dock or monitor do I already need to drive two external displays at 1920 x 1080?

The two Thunderbolt 4 ports each support DisplayPort Alt Mode, so any dock or monitor with Thunderbolt 4 or USB4 DisplayPort tunnelling will run dual 1080p screens without extra adapters.
