Built for mobile professionals

The ThinkPad T480s pairs an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB SSD. A 14.0 inch FHD IPS touchscreen running at 1920 x 1080 gives sharp visuals for office work, video calls and light content review on the move.

Straightforward setup with one catch

Windows 10 Pro arrives pre-installed so the laptop is ready to join a domain or Azure AD out of the box. Memory is soldered and cannot be upgraded beyond the 8 GB fitted, so buyers who anticipate heavier multitasking should verify that limit before purchase.

The spec that decides fit

Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles everyday productivity and external displays via HDMI or the two USB Type-C ports with DisplayPort alt-mode. It does not suit workloads that need discrete GPU acceleration such as 3D rendering or modern gaming.
