Latitude 5520 business laptop with i7-1185G7

The Dell Latitude 5520 is a 15.6-inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-1185G7 processor running at 3.0 GHz with 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe SSD. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics on a Full HD 1920 x 1080 non-touch display.

Suited for office work and light mobility.

This configuration serves professionals who need quad-core performance, Thunderbolt 3 connectivity and 32 GB RAM for multitasking, video calls and document workloads. Buyers who need discrete graphics for rendering, gaming or CAD, or who require a larger SSD for local project files, should look at a different machine.

256 GB NVMe SSD defines storage headroom

The single 256 GB PCIe NVMe drive sets the practical limit for applications and working data. Users with large media libraries, virtual machines or offline datasets will need external storage or a model with a higher-capacity drive.

Questions about this item

Will the Thunderbolt 3 ports on this Latitude 5520 work with my existing USB-C dock and monitors?

The laptop provides two Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports that carry video and data, so a compatible dock or monitor will connect without an adapter.

How can I verify the Intel Iris Xe graphics and 32 GB DDR4 memory are recognised after the first boot?

Open Task Manager and check the Performance tab; it will show Iris Xe as the GPU and 32 GB DDR4 as the installed memory.

The listing mentions a charger and battery — is the microSD card reader built in or do I need a separate dongle?

A microSD card reader is integrated into the chassis, so no extra accessory is required for card access.
