Purpose-built laptop

The Dell Latitude 5590 is a 15.6-inch business notebook powered by an Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor running at 1.7 GHz. It comes with 16 GB of memory and a 512 GB solid-state drive. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles the display output. The unit ships with Windows 10 Pro installed, with Windows 11 Pro available on request.

Compatibility check

Verify that your docking station or external monitors accept an HDMI 1.4 signal from the single HDMI port. Confirm that 16 GB of soldered memory meets your workload, because the memory is not user-upgradeable. Ensure the 1366 x 768 panel resolution matches your visibility requirements before ordering.

Sustained operation

The UHD 620 graphics share system memory, so extended 3D or video tasks will draw from the 16 GB pool and may throttle under continuous load. The quad-core processor maintains its 1.7 GHz base clock during long sessions, but single-thread bursts above that level depend on thermal headroom inside the chassis. Expect stable office performance rather than prolonged heavy compute throughput.
