Ultrabook for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 7390 is a 13.3-inch touchscreen ultrabook built around an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor running at 1.90 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of memory and a 512 GB solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and a Dell charger is included.

Suits travellers needing biometric login

Fingerprint reader, smartcard slot and SIM slot support corporate security policies. HDMI, Ethernet, USB-C and micro-SD cover presentations and wired networks without dongles. Buyers who want a pristine chassis should look elsewhere; the outer casing shows scratched marks. Users needing discrete graphics or user-replaceable memory will not find them here.

13.3-inch FHD touchscreen defines the form factor

The 13.3-inch full-HD touch panel dictates the ultrabook footprint and enables pen or finger input for annotations. It also limits the keyboard layout to a compact arrangement. If a larger non-touch display or a 2-in-1 hinge is required, this screen specification makes the 7390 unsuitable.

Questions about this item

Does the Core i7 8650U throttle under long workloads?

The 1.90 GHz quad-core processor will reduce speed when its thermal limit is reached, which is normal behaviour for this ultrabook class.

How loud and hot does the Latitude 7390 get during all-day use?

Fan noise stays low for office tasks and rises under sustained load; the chassis warms noticeably but remains within design limits.

Which cables or peripherals are required to start working?

Only the included Dell AC adapter is essential; all other ports such as HDMI, USB-C, Ethernet and Micro SD are optional expansions.
