Compact business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7480 is a 14.0 inch ultrabook built for professionals who need a portable Windows 11 Pro machine with a 1920 x 1080 non-touch display. It runs on a dual-core Intel Core i7-6600U processor with 4 MB cache and a base frequency of 2.6 GHz up to 3.4 GHz. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handles visual output. The system ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB SSD for storage.

Interface and wireless limits

Video output relies on HDMI and DisplayPort via USB-C, so external monitors must support one of those connections. Wireless networking uses 802.11a/b/g/n/ac with Bluetooth 4.2 for peripherals. The integrated graphics and dual-core processor set a ceiling for intensive 3D workloads or heavy multithreaded tasks. Buyers who need more storage bandwidth than SATA or NVME M.2 provides should look elsewhere.

Build and daily use

A unibody chassis with soft-touch paint and optional carbon-fibre cover keeps weight to 3.01 lbs while maintaining rigidity. The bottom-load keyboard and narrow-border screen reduce the footprint for travel. An optional infrared camera enables Windows Hello facial recognition. Users who require a touchscreen or a larger display will not find those features here.
