Latitude 7480 business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7480 is a 14-inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor. It comes with 8 GB of memory and a 256 GB solid-state drive. The 1920 x 1080 FHD display is non-touch and includes an integrated webcam. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed.

Sustained workload behaviour

The i7-6600U runs at a 2.6 GHz base frequency and can reach 3.4 GHz with Turbo Boost. Integrated graphics share system memory, so extended heavy tasks will be limited by the 8 GB RAM ceiling and thermal constraints of the ultrabook chassis.

Deciding specification

The 8 GB memory capacity is the single figure that determines whether this unit fits the workload; buyers who need more memory for virtual machines or large datasets should look elsewhere.
