14.1″ business laptop with 32 GB DDR4

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14.1-inch laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-8650U processor running at 1.90 GHz. It comes with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed. Integrated graphics, 802.11ac wireless LAN, Bluetooth, a webcam and three USB ports complete the specification.

Professionals needing maximum factory memory

This configuration suits users who require the full 32 GB of soldered memory for heavy multitasking or virtual machines. The integrated graphics and non-touch screen make it a poor fit for creative work that demands discrete GPU acceleration or pen input. Buyers who need a touchscreen or a dedicated graphics card should consider other models.

32 GB soldered DDR4 ceiling

The system supports a maximum of 32 GB of memory and the installed modules already reach that limit. No further RAM upgrades are possible, so the purchase decision rests on whether this capacity meets the workload requirements.
