Dell Latitude 7490 14-inch business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14.0-inch business laptop built around an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor. It comes with 16GB of DDR4 2400 memory and a 256GB solid-state drive. The system runs Windows 11 Pro and includes a 720p webcam with microphone. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles the display output.

Suits mobile professionals needing quad-core power

This unit suits professionals who need quad-core performance in a compact 14-inch chassis for office applications and video calls. The 16GB memory and fast SSD support smooth multitasking. Buyers who require a dedicated graphics processor for 3D work or gaming should look at alternative configurations. The non-touch display also limits direct screen interaction.

Thunderbolt 3 port for high-speed peripherals

The single specification that decides fit is the Thunderbolt 3 port, which provides 40 Gbps bandwidth for external GPUs, docks and fast storage. If your workflow depends on that connection, this laptop matches the requirement. Without the need for Thunderbolt 3, other models may offer different port selections or display options.
