Ready-to-work 14" business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7490 ships with Windows 10 Home, an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor, 16GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD. The 14.0" FHD non-touch display runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles everyday visual tasks. Thunderbolt 3, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 provide broad connectivity for office or mobile use.

Verify power, ports and OS needs

Confirm the included charger matches your local mains voltage and plug type. Check that Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI cover the external displays or docks you plan to use. The system ships on Windows 10 Home; verify whether your organisation requires Windows 11 Pro or specific management features before deployment. Three USB 3.0 ports and a microSD card reader handle common peripherals.

Suits mobile professionals needing a compact

This configuration fits users who want a lightweight 14" chassis with quad-core performance, fast NVMe storage and Thunderbolt 3 expansion. Buyers who need a touchscreen, discrete graphics, larger screen real estate or user-upgradable memory should look at other form factors. The fixed 16GB RAM and soldered platform limit future memory changes.
