Business laptop with 32GB DDR4

The Dell Latitude 7480 is a 14.0 inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor at 2.6 GHz. It comes with 32GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB SATA M.2 SSD. The non-touch FHD display runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution with Intel HD Graphics 520. It ships with Windows 10 Home and includes Thunderbolt 3, HDMI, USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2.

Suited for office mobility not gaming

This configuration serves professionals who need a lightweight 14 inch chassis with abundant RAM for multitasking across business applications and multiple browser tabs. The dual-core processor and integrated graphics make it unsuitable for buyers who want more graphics performance for creative rendering or gaming. It also does not meet the needs of users who require a touchscreen or a dedicated GPU for hardware acceleration.

Deciding spec 32GB DDR4 soldered memory

The 32GB DDR4 capacity is the specification that determines fit because it is not user-upgradable on this platform. Buyers who anticipate needing more memory later cannot add modules, so the purchase decision rests on whether this fixed amount covers the expected workload for the laptop's service life.
