Suits office workers needing a DVD drive

This notebook suits professionals who require a built-in DVD-RW drive for legacy media and a Trusted Platform Module 1.2 chip for hardware-based encryption. The HD+ non-touch screen and VGA plus HDMI outputs support basic external monitor setups. Buyers who want solid-state storage, a touchscreen, or a higher resolution panel should look at other models.

1 TB mechanical hard drive

The single specification that decides fit is the 1 TB 2.5 inch hard drive. It provides large capacity for documents and applications but lacks the speed of solid-state storage. If your workflow demands faster boot and load times, this drive type will be a bottleneck.
