Dell Latitude E5450 14.0" FHD

The Dell Latitude E5450 is a 14.0 inch FHD laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-5600U dual-core processor running at 2.60 GHz with a turbo frequency of 3.20 GHz. It comes equipped with 16GB of DDR3 memory and a new 500GB 2.5 inch SATA SSD. The system ships with no operating system installed.

Suits mobile professionals needing

This unit suits buyers who want a compact 14.0 inch screen at 1920 x 1080 resolution with 16GB RAM and a fresh 500GB SSD already installed. It is not for users who require a pre-loaded Windows licence, discrete graphics beyond Intel HD Graphics 5500, touchscreen input, or internal storage expansion beyond the single 2.5 inch SATA bay.

16GB DDR3 memory soldered to the 16GB maximum

The laptop supports a maximum of 16GB across two slots, and the 16GB DDR3 configuration supplied already reaches that ceiling. Buyers who anticipate needing more memory later cannot upgrade beyond this limit, so the fixed 16GB capacity is the decisive specification for long-term suitability.

Questions about this item

Will the 2.5" SATA SSD slot accept my existing 2.5" drive from an older laptop?

Yes, the 500 GB SSD uses a standard 2.5" SATA interface, so any 2.5" SATA drive you already own will fit and work.

How can I confirm the Core i7-5600U is hitting its 3.20 GHz turbo frequency under load?

Open Task Manager or a hardware monitor while running a demanding task; the CPU clock should rise toward 3.20 GHz when thermals allow.

Does the box include a Windows licence or recovery media for the missing operating system?

No operating system or recovery media is included; you must supply your own Windows licence or alternative OS installation media.
