Ready-to-use business laptop

The Dell Latitude E5450 ships with Windows 10 Home 64-bit already activated by a digital licence key. A 2.60 GHz Intel Core i5 dual-core processor and 16 GB of DDR3 memory run everyday office applications without delay. The 14-inch non-touch display keeps the chassis compact for mobile professionals. Anti-virus software and the LibreOffice suite are pre-installed.

Simple setup with one limitation

Power on, accept the licence agreement and the system activates automatically — no 25-character key to type. Memory is already at the 16 GB maximum supported by the two slots, so no RAM upgrade is possible. The 500 GB SATA hard drive can be swapped for a larger SATA unit if more local storage is needed later.

Check your workflow before ordering

This unit has no Bluetooth and relies on 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN only. There is no optical drive and the integrated graphics are not suited to modern gaming or heavy 3D work. Buyers who need faster Wi-Fi, Bluetooth peripherals or a solid-state drive should look elsewhere. The original lithium-ion battery is tested to hold a charge.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the 2.60 GHz Intel i5 is recognised after first boot?

Open Task Manager or System Information in Windows 10 Home 64 Bit and confirm the processor shows Intel Core i5 at 2.60 GHz with two cores active.

Does the box include the AC adapter and are any cables sold separately?

The AC adapter is included; the laptop has two USB ports and integrated graphics, so no extra video or data cables are required for basic use.

Should I choose the 16 GB DDR3 configuration or a lower-capacity version?

The memory slots already hold the maximum 16 GB DDR3 supported by this model, so no smaller-capacity option exists for this unit.
