Dell Latitude E5450 laptop 14.0 inch

The Dell Latitude E5450 is a business-class laptop built around a 2.90 GHz Intel Core i7 5th Gen dual-core processor. It ships with 8GB of DDR3 memory and a 128GB solid-state drive. A 14.0 inch non-touch display and Windows 10 Home 64-bit complete the ready-to-use package.

Ideal for office workflows and legacy compatibility

This machine suits professionals who need a compact Windows 10 device for document editing, email and web-based applications. The 128GB SSD limits local storage for large media libraries or modern game installs. Buyers who want more storage capacity or a touchscreen should look at other models. Buyers requiring Bluetooth connectivity or faster wireless standards will need a different device.

Single specification that decides fit: 128GB SSD

The 128GB solid-state drive is the decisive factor for most buyers. It provides fast boot and application launch speeds but fills quickly with offline files, updates and media. If your workflow depends on keeping many gigabytes of data on the internal drive, this capacity will constrain you. If you rely on cloud storage or external drives, the 128GB SSD is adequate.

Questions about this item

Will the 8 GB DDR3 memory need to be upgraded later?

The system ships with 8 GB DDR3 across two slots and supports up to 16 GB, so you can add another module if workloads demand more RAM.

What limits performance first during long sessions on the 2.90 GHz Intel Core i7?

The dual-core 2.90 GHz processor reaches its thermal ceiling under sustained heavy loads, causing clock speeds to drop before other components become a bottleneck.

How loud and hot does the 14.0 inch laptop get when running all day?

Under continuous use the fan becomes audible and the chassis warms noticeably as the cooling system manages heat from the 2.90 GHz CPU and 128 GB SSD.
