Compact 12.5-inch business laptop

The Dell Latitude E7250 is a slim 12.5-inch laptop built for professionals who travel frequently or meet clients. It runs Windows 10 Pro on a dual-core Intel Core i5-5300U processor at 2.3 GHz with 8 GB of DDR3 memory. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 handles the 1366 x 768 non-touch display and external monitors via HDMI or mini DisplayPort.

128 GB mSATA SSD and 8 GB RAM

The 128 GB mSATA SSD provides fast boot and application loading while preserving battery life. Eight gigabytes of memory keeps everyday office workloads, web browsing and video calls responsive, and the system supports up to 16 GB if more headroom is needed. Storage space is limited for large media libraries or multiple virtual machines, so users with heavy local data needs should plan for external drives.

Upgrade from slower mechanical-drive ultraportables

This unit replaces older ultraportables that still use spinning hard drives, delivering noticeably quicker start-up and file access. The jump is worth it when mobility and quick wake-from-sleep matter more than raw processing power or high-resolution graphics. Buyers who need more storage, a touchscreen or discrete graphics will need a different class of device.

Questions about this item

Will the 128GB mSATA SSD and 8GB DDR3 work with a 12.5" 1366 x 768 screen and HDMI port on an older docking station?

The laptop ships with a 128GB mSATA SSD and 8GB DDR3, drives a 12.5" 1366 x 768 panel, and provides one HDMI port plus a mini DisplayPort for external displays or docking stations.

How can I verify the Intel Core i5-5300U at 2.3GHz and Intel HD Graphics 5500 are running correctly after setup?

Open Task Manager to confirm the i5-5300U shows 2.3GHz base speed and two cores, then check Device Manager that Intel HD Graphics 5500 appears without error codes.

Does the box include the charger and battery, and do I need to buy an mSATA SSD or DDR3 separately?

The package contains the laptop, charger, and battery; the 128GB mSATA SSD and 8GB DDR3 are already installed, so no extra storage or memory purchase is required.
