Dell Latitude E7440 14" Touch Ultrabook

This Dell Latitude 7000 Series E7440 is a 14-inch touchscreen ultrabook designed for professionals who need a reliable Windows 10 Pro machine for daily business tasks. It combines a 1920 x 1080 FHD display with an Intel Core i5-4300U processor and 8GB DDR3 memory for standard office productivity. The 128GB SATA SSD provides fast boot times and application loading for essential files and programs.

Check DDR3 memory slots and SATA storage bay

Before ordering, verify that your existing DDR3 SODIMM modules match the installed 4GB x 2 configuration if you plan to expand the 8GB total capacity. The 2.5-inch 128GB SATA SSD occupies the primary drive bay, so confirm physical space and connector availability for any additional storage drives. Ensure your docking station or peripherals support the available VGA and HDMI video outputs for external displays.

Windows 10 Pro and integrated graphics included

The pre-installed Windows 10 Pro operating system enables domain join, BitLocker encryption, and remote desktop features required in managed IT environments. Intel HD Graphics 4400 handles the 1920 x 1080 touchscreen and external monitor output without a discrete GPU, reducing power draw. The built-in webcam supports video conferencing, while the optical drive reads and writes DVDs for legacy media access.

Questions about this item

Does the Dell Latitude E7440 include a power adapter or do I need to buy one separately?

The laptop ships with Windows 10 Pro installed, an Intel Core i5-4300U processor, 8 GB DDR3 memory in a 4 GB x 2 configuration, a 2.5" 128 GB SATA SSD, a 14.0" 1920 x 1080 touchscreen, HDMI output, a webcam and a DVD-RW drive. No separate purchase is required for those components.

Should I choose the 128 GB SSD or a larger capacity for this E7440?

The E7440 is supplied with a single 2.5" 128 GB SATA solid-state drive. If your workload involves large media libraries or many virtual machines, a higher-capacity SATA SSD can be fitted in the same bay, but the standard 128 GB covers typical business documents and applications.

What does the 1.9 GHz Intel Core i5-4300U mean for everyday performance on this 14" touchscreen ultrabook?

The dual-core i5-4300U runs at a base frequency of 1.9 GHz with Intel HD Graphics 4400. Combined with 8 GB DDR3 RAM and the 128 GB SATA SSD, it handles office suites, web browsing and video playback smoothly on the 1920 x 1080 touchscreen.
