Dell Latitude E7440 business ultrabook

The Dell Latitude E7440 is a 14.0 inch touchscreen ultrabook from the 7000 series. It runs Windows 10 Pro on a dual-core Intel Core i5-4300U processor with Intel HD Graphics 4400. The system includes 16GB of DDR3 memory configured as 8 GB x 2 modules. Storage combines a 256 GB mSATA SSD with a 1TB hard drive for the operating system and data.

Suits mobile professionals needing touch input

This laptop suits users who want a 1920 x 1080 touchscreen, VGA and HDMI outputs, and a built-in webcam for video calls. The dual-drive layout gives fast boot times from the SSD plus high capacity on the hard drive. Buyers who need a dedicated graphics card, a newer processor architecture, or a lighter chassis without an optical drive should look at something else.

Verify your software and peripheral requirements

Confirm that your applications run on Windows 10 Pro and a 4th generation Intel Core i5 with integrated graphics. Check that any external displays you use accept VGA or HDMI connections. Ensure your workflow fits within 16GB of DDR3 memory, as the specification shows 8 GB x 2 modules installed.
