Dell Latitude E7450 14 inch FHD laptop

This Dell Latitude E7450 is a 14.0 inch laptop with a 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch display. It runs on an Intel Core i5-5300U dual-core processor with a base frequency of 2.30 GHz and a turbo frequency of 2.90 GHz. The system includes 16GB of DDR3 memory and a new 128GB 2.5 inch SATA SSD. It comes with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit installed.

Suits mobile professionals needing a managed

This laptop suits users who need a compact 14 inch form factor with a full HD screen for office applications and video calls via the integrated webcam. The 16GB memory ceiling and dual-core processor limit its fit for heavy multitasking, virtualisation workloads or modern gaming requirements. Buyers who need more storage capacity, a dedicated graphics processor or a touchscreen display should look at other configurations.

16GB DDR3 memory soldered to 16GB maximum

The memory subsystem is the critical specification: the unit ships with 16GB of DDR3 installed across two slots and the platform maximum is 16GB, so no future upgrade is possible. The 128GB SATA SSD provides a modest boot volume for the operating system and core applications. Intel HD Graphics 5500 handles the 1920 x 1080 panel output without discrete graphics memory.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 1920 x 1080 FHD panel is working correctly after first boot?

Open Settings, choose System then Display, and confirm the resolution slider shows 1920 x 1080 as the recommended setting; the Intel HD Graphics 5500 driver should report the native panel size without scaling issues.

What components are included and what must I source separately for this Latitude E7450?

The unit ships with the 14.0" FHD chassis, Intel Core i5-5300U processor, 16 GB DDR3 memory, a NEW 128 GB 2.5" SATA SSD, Windows 10 Pro 64-bit pre-installed, integrated webcam and Bluetooth; no extra parts are required for basic operation.

Which storage capacity should I choose if the only option listed is the 128 GB SSD?

The product is configured with a single 128 GB 2.5" SATA SSD; if more space is needed later the laptop has one free 2.5" bay and supports up to 16 GB total memory across its two DDR3 slots.
