Ready-to-work 14-inch business laptop

The Dell Latitude E7470 ships with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit installed, an Intel Core i7-6650U dual-core processor running at 2.20 GHz with a 3.40 GHz turbo, and 16 GB of DDR4 memory. A 14.0-inch non-touch FHD panel at 1920 x 1080 resolution is driven by Intel Iris Graphics 540. The system is new and includes a 128 GB 2.5-inch SATA SSD.

Fits a mobile workflow without extra parts

The 16 GB memory reaches the platform maximum, so no further RAM upgrades are possible. The single 2.5-inch SATA bay holds the included 128 GB SSD; adding a larger drive requires cloning or a fresh OS install. Integrated graphics and the fixed 14-inch chassis keep the footprint compact for travel or desk docking.

128 GB SSD covers core apps, not large media

The solid-state drive boots Windows 10 Pro quickly and holds everyday documents, browser profiles and light creative files. Space runs out with big video projects, raw photo libraries or modern game installs. Buyers who want more storage will need to replace the drive or carry external media.

Questions about this item

Does the 2.20 GHz dual-core processor throttle under sustained load?

The Intel Core i7-6650U runs at 2.20 GHz base with a 3.40 GHz turbo; sustained performance will depend on the laptop's cooling solution.

How loud or hot does the chassis get during all-day use?

The system uses Intel Iris Graphics 540 integrated graphics, so heat and fan noise stay modest for typical office workloads.

What memory does the 16 GB DDR4 configuration leave free for upgrades?

Both memory slots are populated to reach the 16 GB maximum, so no additional RAM can be added.
