Questions about this item

Can the 8 GB DDR4 memory be upgraded later if I need more capacity?

The laptop has two DDR4 slots and supports up to 16 GB, so you can add or replace modules to reach that limit.

What component will throttle first when the Core i7-6600U runs at its 3.40 GHz turbo for long periods?

The Intel HD Graphics 520 shares thermal budget with the dual-core CPU, so sustained turbo loads typically hit the package power limit before the memory or SSD become bottlenecks.

How loud and hot does the 14.0 inch chassis get during an all-day workload?

The compact 14.0 inch design uses a single fan; under continuous load the CPU settles near its base 2.60 GHz clock, keeping surface temperatures moderate and fan noise at a low hum.
