Rugged 14-inch laptop for field work

The Dell Latitude Rugged 5420 is a 14.0-inch laptop built to withstand harsh environments while running business applications. Its Intel Core i5-8350U processor reaches 3.6 GHz turbo frequency across four cores, and 16GB of memory keeps multiple programmes responsive. The 1 TB SSD provides fast storage for large project files. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

1 TB SSD and 16 GB memory headroom

The 1 TB solid-state drive accommodates operating system, applications and extensive field data without relying on external media. Sixteen gigabytes of RAM handles simultaneous office suites, browser sessions and specialised utilities, though memory-intensive rendering or virtualisation workloads will exhaust available capacity. The non-touch 1920 x 1080 FHD display delivers clear visuals in bright outdoor conditions.

Optional ports expand connectivity

A removable PCIe storage bay allows quick drive swaps in the field, while the SD and SIM card slots support data transfer and mobile broadband. Optional RJ-45 gigabit Ethernet, VGA, DisplayPort or Fischer USB interfaces adapt the laptop to legacy industrial equipment. HDMI, USB 3.0 Type-A, USB 3.0 Type-C and a native serial port cover standard peripheral needs without extra dongles.
