Rugged 14-inch workstation

The Dell Latitude Rugged Extreme 7424 is a 14.0-inch laptop built for field work. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with a base clock of 1.9 GHz and a turbo frequency of 4.20 GHz. The system includes 16 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD. A dedicated AMD Radeon RX 540 graphics card drives the 1920 x 1080 FHD touchscreen.

Suits mobile professionals needing durability

This device suits first responders, utility crews and engineers who need a sealed chassis that survives drops, vibration and weather. The integrated webcam and wireless LAN support remote collaboration. Buyers who want a lighter ultrabook for office travel or a larger screen for desktop replacement should look elsewhere. The 7.60 lb starting weight and 2.02-inch profile prioritise protection over portability.

256 GB primary drive with expansion bays

The 256 GB PCIe primary bay handles the operating system, core applications and active project files comfortably. Two optional SATA bays and an optical-drive slot accept extra drives for local archives or redundant backups. Users storing large media libraries or extensive datasets on-board will exhaust the factory capacity quickly and must add secondary storage.
