Business desktop with hybrid storage

The Dell OptiPlex 7010 Mini Tower is a new desktop computer built around a 3rd Gen Intel Quad Core i5-3470 running at 3.20 GHz with a 3.60 GHz Turbo Boost. It comes equipped with 32 GB of DDR3 RAM, a 2.5" 256 GB Solid State Drive paired with a 1 TB Hard Drive, and a DVD±RW optical drive. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed, and a USB keyboard and mouse are included in the box. Integrated Intel Graphics 4000 and Gigabit Ethernet handle display output and wired networking respectively.

Office users needing ample memory

This system suits office workers, students or home users who want a ready-to-go PC with plenty of RAM for multitasking and the speed of an SSD for the operating system alongside a large mechanical drive for files. Buyers who require a modern memory standard, a dedicated graphics card for gaming or creative rendering, or a small-form-factor chassis should look elsewhere. The Mini Tower form factor also demands more desk space than compact alternatives.

32 GB DDR3 RAM capacity

The single specification that determines suitability is the 32 GB DDR3 memory configuration. This is the maximum amount of DDR3 RAM this platform supports, so the desktop arrives fully populated and cannot be upgraded further. If your workload needs more than 32 GB of system memory, this unit will not meet that requirement.
