Compact business desktop with dual SSD storage

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720s is a small-form-factor desktop built around an 8th Generation Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor running at 3.0 GHz up to 4.1 GHz. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory, a 128 GB M.2 SSD for the operating system and a 1 TB SSD for data, plus Windows 11 Pro pre-installed. A USB Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongle, DVD-ROM drive, keyboard and mouse are included.

Suits office users needing fast boot

This configuration suits office workers, front-desk stations and light productivity tasks that benefit from snappy dual-SSD storage and six processing cores. Buyers who want more memory than 8 GB or a discrete graphics card for demanding 3D or video workloads should look at a different system.

8 GB DDR4 memory installed

The system arrives with 8 GB of DDR4 UDIMM memory and supports expansion up to 32 GB. If your applications require more RAM out of the box, you will need to add modules after purchase.

How can I verify the Intel Core i5-8500 is running at its 4.10 GHz turbo speed after setup?

Open Task Manager in Windows 11 Pro, select the Performance tab and watch the CPU frequency climb toward 4.10 GHz under load.

The listing mentions a USB keyboard and mouse — are they inside the box or do I need to order them separately?

Both the USB keyboard and USB mouse are included in the box; no separate purchase is required.

The system ships with 8 GB DDR4 — should I choose the 32 GB maximum capacity for my workload?

The motherboard supports up to 32 GB DDR4 UDIMM; add more modules later if 8 GB proves limiting.
