Dell OptiPlex 7010 Mini Tower

This desktop computer uses a 3rd Gen Intel Core i7-3770 quad-core processor at 3.40 GHz with 8 GB of DDR3 RAM. It ships with Windows 10 Pro installed and includes a USB keyboard and mouse. The Mini Tower form factor suits home or office environments where a monitor is already available.

Dual-drive storage with 256 GB SSD and 2 TB HDD

The 2.5-inch 256 GB solid-state drive handles the operating system and frequent applications while the 2 TB hard drive stores larger files. This combination replaces single-drive configurations that force a choice between speed and capacity. The jump is worthwhile when daily workflows need fast boot times alongside space for archives or media libraries.

Integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 supports three

Graphics run from the processor with a base frequency of 650 MHz and a maximum dynamic frequency of 1.15 GHz. The system provides Gigabit Ethernet and a DVD±RW optical drive. Memory can be expanded to 16 GB or 32 GB of DDR3 using the 240-pin DIMM slots. Buyers who need discrete graphics or more than three simultaneous displays should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the 2.5-inch 256 GB SSD and 2 TB hard drive fit the Mini Tower drive bays?

The desktop includes a 2.5-inch 256 GB SSD and a 2 TB hard drive already installed in the Mini Tower chassis.

How do I add more DDR3 memory, and which slot do people forget?

Open the case, align the 240-pin DDR3 module with the slot, press firmly until the clips click; the second slot is often missed when upgrading to 16 GB or 32 GB.

When should I replace the DVD±RW drive or the 256 GB SSD?

Replace the DVD±RW drive if discs fail to read or write, and replace the 256 GB SSD if Windows 10 Pro reports drive errors or capacity drops.
