Dell OptiPlex 7010 MT Desktop

This Dell OptiPlex 7010 Mini Tower desktop computer ships new with a 3rd Gen Intel Core i5-3470 quad-core processor running at 3.20 GHz. It includes 8 GB of DDR3 memory, a 1 TB solid state drive paired with a 1 TB hard drive, and a DVD±RW optical drive. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed, and a USB keyboard and mouse are supplied in the box.

Home and office users needing dual storage

The configuration suits buyers who want the responsiveness of a 1 TB SSD for the operating system and the capacity of a 1 TB hard drive for bulk files. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 supports up to three displays via the available video outputs. Buyers who require a dedicated graphics card for modern gaming or GPU-accelerated workloads should consider a different system.

Bundled peripherals and dual-drive layout

The included USB keyboard and mouse let you start working immediately without separate purchases. The 2.5-inch SSD and 3.5-inch hard drive are both installed, so the operating system boots from flash storage while the mechanical drive remains available for large archives. No additional storage cables or mounting brackets are required for this factory configuration.

Questions about this item

Does the OptiPlex 7010 MT need a separate monitor to operate?

Yes, the specifications state that a monitor is not included, so you must supply your own display with a compatible video input.

Can the Intel HD Graphics 2500 drive a second display alongside the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 output?

The processor graphics support up to three displays simultaneously, so a second monitor can be connected using the available video ports on the chassis.

After first boot, how can I confirm the 1TB SSD and 1TB HDD are both recognised by Windows 10 Pro?

Open File Explorer and verify that two separate drive letters appear, each showing roughly 1,000 GB capacity, indicating both storage devices are detected and ready.
