Dell OptiPlex 9010 Mini Tower desktop

The Dell OptiPlex 9010 Mini Tower is a desktop computer built for everyday office and home use. It ships with a 3.20 GHz Intel Core i5-3470 quad-core processor, 16 GB of DDR3 memory and a 512 GB solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed, and a USB keyboard, mouse and DVD-RW drive are included in the box.

Upgrade from older hard-drive systems

Replacing a mechanical hard drive with the 512 GB SSD cuts boot and application load times dramatically. The jump is worth it when daily tasks feel sluggish or when 8 GB of memory leaves too little headroom for multitasking. This configuration doubles that capacity to 16 GB while keeping the familiar Mini Tower chassis.

Sustained workload behaviour

Under continuous load the i5-3470 can reach 3.60 GHz via Turbo Boost across its four threads. The Mini Tower form factor provides enough airflow to maintain those speeds during extended office sessions without thermal throttling. Gigabit Ethernet keeps network transfers steady when large files move across the local network.
