Dell OptiPlex 790 Mini Tower Desktop

This Dell OptiPlex 790 Mini Tower desktop is built around a 2nd Gen Intel Core i7-2600 quad-core processor running at 3.40 GHz with a 3.90 GHz turbo. It comes with 16 GB of DDR3 memory, a 512 GB 2.5-inch SSD, a 2 TB 3.5-inch hard drive and Windows 10 Pro 64-bit pre-installed. A DVD±RW drive, USB keyboard and mouse are included.

Check your DDR3 memory and 265 W power supply

The system uses 240-pin DDR3 DIMM modules, so any memory upgrade must match that specification. The installed 265 W power supply limits the graphics cards you can add without replacing the PSU. Verify that your monitor has a compatible video input for the integrated Intel HD Graphics 2000 output.

Suits office and home users needing dual-drive

This configuration suits buyers who want a responsive SSD boot drive plus a large mechanical drive for files, all in a compact mini-tower case with wired peripherals included. It is not for buyers who want more storage bays than the chassis provides, builders who need a higher-wattage power supply for discrete graphics, or anyone requiring a newer memory standard than DDR3.
