Dell OptiPlex 790 Mini Tower Desktop

This Dell OptiPlex 790 Mini Tower desktop computer is built around an Intel 2nd Gen Core i7-2600 quad-core processor running at 3.40 GHz with a 3.90 GHz turbo boost. It comes with 16 GB of DDR3 RAM, a 512 GB 2.5-inch SSD, a 1 TB 3.5-inch hard drive, a DVD±RW optical drive, and Windows 10 Pro 64-bit pre-installed. A USB keyboard and mouse are included in the box.

Suited for general office tasks and home use

The system handles everyday productivity, web browsing, and media playback using its integrated Intel HD Graphics 2000 and Gigabit Ethernet connection. A USB wireless dongle provides Wi-Fi access. Buyers who require a dedicated graphics card for gaming or intensive 3D work, or who need a higher-wattage power supply for upgrades, should consider other configurations.

265 W power supply limits expansion

The 265 W unit powers the included components but leaves little headroom for add-in cards that draw significant power. The Mini Tower case uses standard DIMM 240-pin slots for memory and provides both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch drive bays for the dual-storage layout.

Form factor fits standard Mini Tower space

The black and silver chassis measures to Mini Tower dimensions and includes legacy ports alongside modern connectivity. It is designed for consumer and student environments where a compact footprint and included peripherals simplify setup.
