The Dell PowerEdge R640 is a 1U rack server built around two Intel Xeon Silver 4110 processors running at 2.1 GHz with eight cores each. It ships with 256 GB of DDR4 registered ECC memory across eight 32 GB modules and includes a PERC H730P storage controller with 2 GB cache. Dual 750 W redundant power supplies and iDRAC 9 Enterprise remote management complete the base configuration.
