Precision 7750 mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 7750 is a 17.3-inch mobile workstation built around an Intel Core i7-10850H six-core processor with 64 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and an NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 graphics card carrying 6 GB GDDR6 video memory. The FHD display resolves at 1920 x 1080 on a non-touch panel.

Professionals needing certified GPU drivers

This unit suits engineers, designers and analysts who rely on ISV-certified drivers for CAD, CAE or content-creation applications and want a single chassis with Thunderbolt 3 and Mini DisplayPort 1.4 outputs. Buyers who want a touchscreen, a higher-resolution panel or a lighter ultraportable form factor should look at something else.

Quadro RTX 3000 with 6 GB GDDR6

The NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 6 GB GDDR6 GPU determines whether this laptop can accelerate the specific render engines, simulation solvers or viewport workloads you run daily; verify that your software stack lists this card on its certified hardware matrix before purchasing.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the i7-10850H get when the Precision 7750 runs at its 45W power limit all day?

The six-core i7-10850H is rated at 45W; under sustained load the fans spin up to move that heat, so expect noticeable airflow and warm keyboard deck areas.

Which cables or docks must I already own to use the Thunderbolt 3 ports and Mini DisplayPort 1.4 on this Precision 7750?

You need Thunderbolt 3 cables or a Thunderbolt 3 dock for the two USB-C ports, and a Mini DisplayPort 1.4 cable for the dedicated video output.

Will my older USB 3.0 drives and HDMI 1.4 monitors work directly with the 7750's USB 3.2 Gen 1 and HDMI 2.0 ports?

Yes — the three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports are backward compatible with USB 3.0 devices, and the HDMI 2.0 port drives HDMI 1.4 displays at 1920 x 1080.
