Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Dell T3JNM 255 W power supply and do I need any extra cables for an OptiPlex 760 or 960 mini-tower?

The unit is supplied as the power supply module only; it uses the standard motherboard and drive connectors already present in the OptiPlex 760 and 960 mini-tower chassis, so no additional cables are required.

How do I confirm that the 255 W mini-tower version is the correct one for my OptiPlex 760 or 960?

Check the chassis label — if it reads Mini Tower and the original PSU part number is T3JNM, this 255 W replacement matches the form factor and wattage for both the OptiPlex 760 and 960 models.
