Dell Precision GPU power adapter

This 10-pin to 8-pin (6+2) plus 6-pin cable connects a Dell Precision 5820 or 7820 motherboard to a graphics card that requires two PCIe power connectors. It is built for workstation owners who want to install a compatible GPU without replacing the original power supply. The 21-inch length fits the 21-inch chassis layout.

Replaces missing PCIe connectors

The adapter adds one 8-pin (6+2) and one 6-pin PCIe plug to the single 10-pin motherboard header, upgrading the workstation for cards that need both connectors. The jump is worth it when the installed GPU demands dual power inputs and the system has no spare PCIe cables from the PSU. Maximum power rating is 1200 W.

Check motherboard and card compatibility

This cable is designed only for Dell Precision 5820 and 7820 motherboards; using it with any other motherboard or PSU can cause damage. Verify that your graphics card uses standard 6-pin and 8-pin PCIe inputs and that the 10-pin header on the Dell board matches the keying shown in the product images. Self-adhesive tape is included for cable routing.
