A built-in privacy cover slides over the lens when not in use. The device connects via USB 2.0 and requires no driver installation.

The 180° foldable base allows freestanding use with the included mini tripod or clipping to a monitor or laptop screen. 360° horizontal rotation and 35° vertical tilt let you frame the shot. Questions about this item

How much heat or power does the USB 2.0 webcam draw during all-day streaming?

The webcam runs from a single USB 2.0 port at 480 Mb/s and has no external power supply, so heat and power stay very low.

What must my computer already have for this webcam to work?

An available USB-A port and a supported operating system such as Windows, macOS or Chrome OS; no driver installation is required.

Will the 1080p USB 2.0 camera work alongside my older 720p capture card?

Yes, it appears as a standard UVC device on the same USB 2.0 bus, so legacy capture software can select either source independently.
