Post cap lights for 4x4 posts

Two black plastic solar post caps fit 4x4 vinyl or wooden posts. Each unit contains 72 yellow SMD LEDs that produce a flickering flame effect or steady glow. The lights charge in 6-8 hours of direct sunlight and run up to 8 hours. A 1000 mAh Ni-MH AA battery is included in each cap.

Decorative accent lighting, not task lighting

The 1800 K flame glow suits garden paths, decks and fence lines where ambient light is wanted. Buyers needing bright security or pathway illumination should look at higher-output fixtures. The IP44 rating handles rain but not submersion or pressure washing.

4.7 inch square footprint

The caps measure 4.7 x 4.7 x 2.76 inches and weigh 0.97 pounds for the pair. They sit directly on standard 4x4 post tops without brackets. Verify your post dimensions match this footprint before ordering.

Questions about this item

Should I buy the 2-pack or look for a 4, 6 or 8-pack for my fence?

The 2-pack suits a short run or a trial; larger bundles of 4, 6 or 8 lights are listed if you need to cover more 4x4 posts.

What does the 1800 K colour temperature look like once the lights are on a deck?

1800 K produces a warm, amber glow that mimics candlelight, giving a soft decorative ambience rather than bright task lighting.

How does the IP 44 rating limit where I can mount these caps?

IP 44 protects against splashing water from any direction, so the lights are fine on exposed posts but should not be submerged or pressure-washed.
