Eartec EVADE EVX8S 8-User Intercom

The Eartec EVADE EVX8S is a full-duplex wireless intercom system designed for light-industrial teams of eight people. It operates on the 2.4 GHz spectrum without a base station, using one single-ear master headset and seven remote headsets. All electronics and batteries are integrated into the earcups for cable-free operation.

Suits mobile crews needing hands-free talk

This system suits mobile crews who need simultaneous, hands-free communication across a worksite. It is not for users who require a wired connection, a central base station, or ear-covering headsets for noise isolation. Buyers needing more than eight simultaneous talkers should look at a different system.

Quick setup with auto-linking headsets

The headsets link automatically on power-up, and the 270° boom mutes instantly when flipped up. A five-level volume knob sits on the earcup for fast adjustment. The included 9-bay charger replenishes all units together. The main installation risk is exceeding the 1148' range in obstructed environments.

Questions about this item

Does the team leader's master headset require a separate base station or hub to connect with the seven remote headsets?

No, the headsets link automatically in the 2.4 GHz spectrum and a station hub is not required for operation.

If some crew members keep older Eartec single-ear headsets, can they join the same full-duplex conversation with this EVX8S set?

Compatibility with older headsets is not confirmed; this system is designed for the eight included headsets to link automatically.

How can I confirm the boom microphone is live before speaking during a shift?

Rotate the boom down from the up position; the 270° adjustable boom auto-mutes when up and activates when lowered.
