Verifone Ruby Kit Scanner

The Earthbath MK7120 is a flatbed scanner supplied as a Verifone Ruby kit. It uses a 1D laser engine and omnidirectional scanning for point-of-sale environments. The unit ships new in a black finish with a USB cable included.

USB Connection and Host Compatibility

Verify that the host terminal or computer provides a standard USB port for the included cable. Confirm that the operating system or POS software supports 1D laser input without additional drivers. Ensure the counter space accommodates the omnidirectional scan pattern.

Black Housing and Fixed Cable

The black housing resists visible wear in high-traffic checkout lanes. A permanently attached USB cable removes the risk of loose connectors during daily use. The omnidirectional optics reduce the need for precise item alignment, speeding up transaction throughput.
